Sifu George Georgiou
Sifu George Georgiou trained extensively in martial arts from the age of 12.
George began Wing Chun Kuen first under Sifu Victor Kan Lineage. Sifu Kan is a direct disciple of Yip Man of “Ip Man” movie fame characterised by Donnie Yen.
George then trained under Sifu Michael Street. Sifu Michael Street trained with Sifu Victor Kan for 18 years and finished the system under the more efficient system of Wong Shun Leung.
Sifu Wong Shun Leung was Yip Man’s greatest Challenge fighter and close friend and mentor of the late, great Bruce Lee.
Wong’s famous street fight challenge matches are well documented in the Hong Kong press. This was all out fighting long before MMA and current full contact competitions which are popular today.
